- Survey Method: Job discrimination may be ascertained by carrying out surveys in the industry or enterprise. During the surveys information about policies like recruitment, retrenchment, work conditions, conditions, promotion transfers, wages etc. are collected and conclusions are drawn.
- Study of Institutional Policies: Another method to ascertain job discrimination is the study of Institutional job policies, such as:-
- Hiring and firing Recruitment Policies
- Recruitment, Transfer, Promotion Policies
- Training and Development Policies
- Wage Policies, Fringe Benefits, Retirement Plans
- Medical, Pregnancy and Disability Leave
- Safety and Working Conditions Norms
